It is the policy of the Colbert County Board of Education that, pursuant to the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) of December 2015 and the Title VII-B of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act of 2001 (42 USC 111431, et seq.), as amended by the ESSA, and each and every other law, rule, regulation or code, regarding a free and appropriate education, all students, regardless of status, placement, shall have equal access to appropriate education, including public preschool education.
